Why a Workshop

How It Works
Photos or a short video of the door, hallway, turns, elevator and stairs. We plan the job before the day.
The store ships it to our workshop, or we pick it up from the store or from you. Give us your salesperson's name and we set up the handoff.
We send you the photos. If anything is already marked or damaged, you hear about it before we start.
On a clean carpet, one sofa at a time. To get the back off, we usually cut the wood frame.
In your home, we screw plates across the cut, put the upholstery back the way it was and place the sofa where you want it. We take the packing and your old sofa with us.
When to Call
Choose the sofa you actually want, then have the store deliver it to our workshop instead of your door.
Not sure it will make the elevator or the stairs? Have the store send it to us, or give us your salesperson's name and we arrange the pickup.
The sofa can still come to the workshop. We collect it from you, or from the store if it went back.

Yes. Sleepers take more work because they are heavy and have more upholstery to lift, and the price reflects that. The frame is rebuilt and the upholstery goes back the way it was.
Often, yes. To get the back off, we usually cut the wood frame. We rebuild the joint with plates screwed across it, so it is stronger than before, then re-upholster it as it was.
