“I had a sofa yesterday that the delivery guys could not bring up to my second floor apartment it was to big for the narrow staircase . I was ready to get a refund and settle for a different couch. I searched up “disassemble and re assemble furniture” on google and SOFA ERA popped up. I gave them a call and this is at around 5pm. Julian picked up told me to send him pictures of the couch and told me he could be here the very next day! Often, yes. To get the back or the base off, we usually cut the wood frame. We put the joint back together with wood, steel plates or both, screwed across the cut, so it holds as strong as before, or stronger. Then we reattach the upholstery the way it was.
The On-the-Spot Fit starts at $275, and each extra sectional piece is $175. The Workshop Fit is double the On-the-Spot sofa price; stairs and tolls are added once. The AI Quote Tool shows your range first.
