What makes the Dune different
The Dune is offered from 60 to 120 inches wide, with a published depth of 38 inches and a height of 34 inches; custom depths are also available. It's built with a loose bench seat and loose back cushions, recessed legs, and additional center legs on the wider widths, all from Maiden Home's own product copy.

How we take the Dune apart
On a Dune, the slipcover comes off first, before any work starts. Then the back is the part that usually comes off: we open the back, find the frame, and cut it free the same way we do on most sofas.
What's left is a U, both arms and the seat, unless the entrance is tight enough that we need an L instead, the back plus one arm. Which one we use depends on the building. That's what the talk-through decides.

If it doesn't fit
Maiden Home's own terms, checked September 27, 2026: a piece that can't be delivered because of sizing or fit is final sale, and Maiden Home considers its warranty void. A Dune that is delivered and then returned within 30 days is refunded minus 25 percent of the price, and the $295 delivery fee is not refunded. On an 85-inch Dune at $5,300, that's about $1,620 lost on a return after delivery, or the full $5,595 if it can't be delivered at all.

Before you order
Maiden Home's only physical showroom is its Meatpacking District flagship at 34 Little West 12th Street, just off the West Village. Measure the whole route before you order: building entrance, elevator or stairs, hallway turns and your own apartment door. Our doorway and hallway guide covers the measurements that matter most, and we work across Manhattan every day, including the Meatpacking District and the West Village. Check the route with Will My Sofa Fit?, and send the Dune's product link to the AI Quote Tool to see your price range before you order.
The fabric
The Dune we priced wears a Heritage Belgian Linen slipcover. Light linen shows marks, which is one reason the clean indoor carpet of the Workshop Fit matters for this sofa.
Light fabric? Have it taken apart indoors
With the Workshop Fit, the Dune comes to our workshop before it ever reaches your building. We plan the route, take it apart indoors on a clean carpet, then carry it in and rebuild it in your home. Planning the fit before the sofa leaves the warehouse is the entire point of the Workshop Fit for a Dune buyer. The Workshop Fit →
